Dr. Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Institute of Andhra Pradesh earlier known as Institute of Administration was established in the year 1976 to serve the general training needs of the Civil Servants of the state. All the state governments in India have set up similar training institutes as per the recommendations of Administrative Reforms Commission setup by Government of India. The Institute was declared as an Apex and nodal agency for all training activities pertaining to Government.
